This book holds the first two chapters of a book I hope to write, it's just that I'm not sure if this would work as a full story so I'm just putting the first two chapters here to see if it's worth the time to make it a full book.
After investigating the murder of an archeology professor specializing in Roman history, a mysterious ring falls into the possession of a detective at the crime scene. He discovers that it allows him to enter people's dreams at night, which he uses to investigate clues only visible in the dreamscape. To save a woman who is the archeologist's assistant, plagued by nightmares of a dark figure stalking her dreams, he uses the power of the ring.
